According to the Investigative Committee, on May 18, near a building on Volgogradsky Prospekt, a car driven by a 17-year-old young man hit pedestrians on the sidewalk.

As a result of the road accident, five people were injured.

They are being examined in city hospitals.

During the interrogation, the driver said that he saw an advertisement for the sale of a car on one of the websites, and then, hiding it from his parents, agreed to purchase it.

The message says that the seller did not demand the documents from the buyer and after receiving the amount indicated in the announcement, in violation of the established procedure, he handed the vehicle over to a minor.

“Criminal cases have been initiated on the grounds of crimes under Article 151.2 of the Criminal Code of Russia (involving a minor in committing acts that pose a danger to the life of a minor) and Article 264 of the Criminal Code of Russia (violation of traffic rules by a person driving a car),” the UK said.

Earlier, as reported by URA.RU, in the center of Yekaterinburg, seven people were injured in an accident.
