The corresponding instruction was given following the results of the Belousov meeting on monitoring and prompt response to changes in prices for socially significant consumer goods.

During the discussion, representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Industry and Trade reported on the measures taken to stabilize prices for sugar, sunflower oil, pork, chicken and eggs, as well as on proposals for the formation of a forecast assessment of the risks of price increases in the domestic market.

"Following the discussion, Belousov instructed the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Industry and Trade to submit ... graphical forms for presenting these data by May 21 and form target values ​​of prices for socially significant goods, based on an assessment of fluctuations in world prices," the Cabinet said.

In addition, the responsible agencies were instructed to submit an eight-week forecast by May 21 to assess the impact of the price situation in the world market on changes in prices for socially important goods in Russia.

Earlier, the government announced a gradual stabilization of food prices.
