"Herman Galushchenko appealed to the NEURC to ban the import of electricity from Russia and Belarus," - said in a statement on the website of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.
The press service explained that the minister sent an appeal to restrict the import of electricity "from states that are not members of the Energy Community."
According to him, “this contradicts the strategic goals of Ukraine in the energy sector” and threatens the country's energy security.
Earlier in Ukraine, they talked about a decrease in the volume of gas transit through the country.
