“At the initiative of Marjorie's family, and with the support of the municipality, a" yellow "march, [the victim's favorite color], will be organized on Saturday May 22 in memory of the young girl and against violence, ”the mayor of Ivry, Philippe Bouyssou, said on Twitter on Monday.

Friday at the end of the afternoon, after "vehement exchanges" on social networks, according to the Créteil prosecutor's office, a 14-year-old young man allegedly stabbed the young girl in the thorax, at the foot of a building in the city Pierre and Marie Curie.

After fleeing, he was arrested and brought to justice.

Indicted Sunday for murder, he was remanded in custody.

"Marjorie was a child of Ivry, her attacker too", added Philippe Bouyssou, recalling "the emotion" caused by his death, "real trauma in his city".
