Earlier, Erdogan said that he was cursing the Austrian government after the flags of Israel were raised in the federal departments of Austria.
"After these absurd statements by President Erdogan, the Turkish ambassador was summoned to the Foreign Ministry in the morning to clearly convey Austria's position," the ministry said.
Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz said the Israeli flag was hoisted over his administration building in solidarity.
Earlier, the press secretary of the Russian president Dmitry Peskov commented on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
