According to PAP, the ambassador called Putin's words "a positive signal for relations with Poland."

“This is a signal that is absolutely consistent with the perception of the Polish side.

I listened to these words with the hope that they would become a signal from the Russian side to build precisely those pragmatic, full-fledged relations between Polish-Russian, ”the diplomat said.

On May 18, Russian President Vladimir Putin at the ceremony of presenting credentials by foreign ambassadors said that relations between Russia and Poland could be more productive.

He noted that "the complex issues accumulated in bilateral relations can certainly be resolved by acting on the basis of pragmatism and taking into account each other's interests."
