Semyon Kochkin, head of the human rights organization Alliance of Teachers, was actively involved in political activities even before the union was founded.

So, during the presidential campaign in 2017, he headed Navalny's headquarters, and then took part in the election campaign to the State Duma of opposition leader Lyubov Sobol.

At the same time, during the primaries, the coordinator repeatedly called on people to go out to illegal mass actions.

In particular, on October 5, 2017, on his page on the Vkontakte social network, Kochkin posted a video calling for the so-called popular gathering in support of Navalny.

Later, the Cheboksary court ruled against Kochkin under Part 8 of Art.

20.2 of the Administrative Code "Repeated violation of the procedure for organizing a meeting."

He was sentenced to 40 hours of compulsory labor.

In total, in 2017, the future chairman of the Alliance of Teachers trade union was prosecuted more than five times for violations related to illegal marches and rallies.

According to RT, Kochkin has several dozen violations under this article.

The last time, by the decision of the Cheboksary district court, he received seven days of arrest for appeals to participate in the action on January 23, 2021.

However, in the "Alliance of Teachers" such an affiliation of the chairman was not surprising at that time.

Moreover, Kochkin's colleagues in other cities also announced their calls for the action openly on the pages of the Alliance of Teachers official community on Vkontakte.

One of them, the head of the St. Petersburg branch of the trade union Daniil Ken, subsequently also received seven days of arrest for appeals under Part 2 of Art.

20.2 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation "Violation of the established procedure for organizing or holding a meeting, meeting, demonstration."

Protect or teach?

Like a number of other similar "public unions", the "Alliance of Teachers" has been actively working in Russia, not without the help of Alexei Navalny and his associates, said Russian public figure, political scientist Sergei Karnaukhov.

“Navalny was given the task of expanding the topic for the creation of surrogate trade unions.

Thus, work was intensified to expand the network of the "Alliance of Doctors" * and involve the maximum number of new members in the "Alliance of Teachers", - Sergey Karnaukhov explained.

Earlier, the Ministry of Justice included the interregional trade union "Alliance of Doctors" in the list of foreign agents.

Rosfinmonitoring also included the public movement Navalny Headquarters ** in the list of organizations involved in terrorism and extremism.

According to the human rights activist, deputy chief of the central headquarters of the Union of Volunteers of Russia, Alexei Uretsky, the provocative activities of activists of the Alliance of Teachers trade union harms people who have asked for help.

The real goal of Navalny's union workers is to play a fake scandal.

“This is the so-called hype and financial profit.

If earlier trade union cells existed on deductions, then in this case the trade union lives on donations, on funds from the sale of various symbols - a hype in these cases is necessary, ”explained Aleksey Uretskiy.

Immoral psychology

In September 2020, with the wording “for an immoral act”, the head of the Alliance of Teachers in St. Petersburg, Daniel Ken, was fired from St. Petersburg Lyceum No. 344, where he worked for eight years as a teacher-psychologist.

The activist announced this on his Facebook page.

According to Ken, he did not commit anything immoral, and the real reason for the dismissal of the union leader is "political motive."

However, Ken's opponents have a different point of view on the reasons for his suspension from teaching at the Lyceum.

They recall how, already in the status of the head of the St. Petersburg branch of the Alliance of Teachers, Daniil Ken became a participant in a scandal.

We are talking about the youth movement "Vesna", the federal coordinator of which in Cheboksary is Semyon Kochkin, already well known to us.

Spring mood

The youth movement "Vesna" was founded in 2013 in St. Petersburg by representatives of the liberal youth.

As St. Petersburg activists write on the official website, the goal of Vesna is "to change the corrupt regime in Russia."

From the very beginning, social activists have established themselves as active functionaries of Navalny.

In 2017, representatives of Vesna took part in illegal actions in support of Navalny, for which they were repeatedly brought to administrative responsibility.

In February 2019, Viasna activist Volodymyr Kazachenko was detained by the police.

During the trial, the investigators found pornographic videos on the activist's phone, in which Kazachenko, along with a friend, was captured in a dubious company of girls 14 and 17 years old.

The incident caused a great public outcry in the northern capital.

After that, dozens of citizens gathered a picket outside Navalny's office demanding to condemn the pedophiles.

Daniil Ken came out to the picketers from Navalny's office and began to express bewilderment.

As RT found out, among the citizens who decided to support the action was a local school teacher Elizaveta Sluk, who tried to explain to the Navalny functionary the purpose of the action against pedophiles.

Later, Sluk published a correspondence with Ken, where the functionary disowned his colleague from "Viasna" with the wording: "We are not responsible for all their actions."

According to Vitaly Borodin, head of the Federal Security and Anti-Corruption Project, such a reaction is considered the norm among Navalny's supporters.

“The paradox is that Navalny and the Alliance of Doctors or the Alliance of Teachers have no ideology - they are ordinary charlatans,” Vitaly Borodin is convinced.

Alliance fashion

Now it has become fashionable to call trade unions alliances: the Alliance of Doctors, the Alliance of Students, and the Alliance of Teachers, said Aleksey Uretsky, human rights activist, deputy chief of the central headquarters of the Union of Volunteers of Russia.

An equally popular trend is to engage in political games under the guise of trade union activities, the expert said.

“The story of the teachers' union, whose founder spent most of his conscious life engaged in protest activities in opposition parties and partly in radical movements, is more than indicative in this sense,” says Aleksey Uretsky.

- What kind of protection of rights can we talk about in the legal field, when a person is a priori prepared as an organizer of political actions?

The main purpose of a true union is to protect the rights of the worker, and this requires a staff of qualified practicing lawyers. "

In an interview with RT, the human rights activist noted that any "trade union in politics" is, first of all, a tool for sabotage, a method of manipulation and pressure on the economy.

“It is for the purpose of sabotage, disrupting the performance of important economic sectors for a region or state that experienced politicians are using trade unions,” added the human rights activist.

According to Vitaly Borodin, such "trade unions" as the "Alliance of Teachers" are engaged not in defending the rights of any professional or social group, but in lobbying Western interests.

“Now there is an information war against Russia, such as Navalny and his brothers in misfortune are ready to be both the Alliance of Doctors and the Alliance of Teachers.

The purpose of these cells is to launder money, for which they are financed in Russia by the West in order to swing the "Maidan" in the country, Borodin believes.
