According to the website of the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Education recently issued a notice, deciding to establish the Chinese Calligraphy Education Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education, the Chinese Martial Arts Education Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education, and the Chinese Opera Education Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education.
The notice stated that in order to implement the "Opinions on Comprehensively Strengthening and Improving School Sports Work in the New Era" and the "Opinions on Comprehensively Strengthening and Improving School Aesthetic Education in the New Era" issued by the General Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the General Office of the State Council, we will effectively strengthen China Calligraphy, martial arts, and opera education work, deepen the reform of Chinese calligraphy, martial arts, and opera education, further inherit and develop excellent Chinese traditional culture, enrich and expand campus culture, promote Chinese calligraphy, martial arts, and opera to enter campuses and classrooms, and give full play to experts’ knowledge of Chinese calligraphy The role of research, consultation, evaluation, and guidance in martial arts and opera education work. After research, it was decided to establish the Chinese Calligraphy Education Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education, the Chinese Martial Arts Education Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education, and the Chinese Opera Education Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education.
The notice requires that all localities and schools should actively support the work of the three education steering committees, including the Chinese Calligraphy Education Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education, and the units where the members belong should provide the necessary guarantees for the members to participate in the work of the committee.
