Yesterday, Saturday, an Israeli human rights center accused Israel of committing war crimes in the Gaza Strip, calling on the international community to immediately intervene to stop them.

The Israeli Information Center "B'Tselem" (non-governmental) said that the international community should intervene immediately and use its potential to influence to force Israel to change its policy before it can expect more victims.

The Center for Human Rights in the Occupied Territories added that since 2014, the besieged Gaza Strip has not witnessed such a scale of killing and destruction at the hands of Israel.

He pointed out that, since Israel launched its "Guardian of the Walls" campaign last Monday, housing centers crowded with civilians have been bombed, including by demolishing homes and residential towers housing dozens of families.

"In addition, there are reports that Israel inflicted heavy damage on commercial stores and vital structures such as electricity and water networks, streets and agricultural lands," he added.

He also mentioned that the Gaza Strip is not only one of the most densely populated areas in the world, but is already under the weight of a humanitarian catastrophe among the causes of the blockade imposed by Israel for 14 years on it.

Since last Monday, Israel has launched an aggression by aircraft and artillery against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, resulting in 145 martyrs, including 41 children and 23 women, and 1,100 injuries of varying degrees, according to the latest statistics of the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

In addition, 17 Palestinians were killed in clashes with the Israeli army and settlers in the occupied West Bank, in addition to hundreds of wounded.

The situation in all the Palestinian territories has exploded, as a result of brutal attacks by the police and settlers, since April 13, in Jerusalem, especially the Bab al-Amud area, the Al-Aqsa Mosque and its surroundings, and the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, where Israel wants to evacuate 12 of its owners.
