In the early morning of December 22, 2020, a black man in Columbus, Ohio, was shot and killed by a white policeman.
On May 14, local time, the Columbus City Government reached a settlement with the family of the black man and compensated each other with US$10 million.
The dead was 47-year-old Andrew Hill.
The law enforcement recorder screen of the white policeman Adam Coy showed that Hill appeared from behind a car, holding a mobile phone in his left hand, the screen facing Coy, and his right hand was invisible.
Hill walked a few steps and was shot by Coy.
After the incident, the white police officer Coy was fired and faced murder charges.
