As the bodies of Corona 19 victims were discovered one after another in the Ganges River in northern India, the local government decided to install CCTVs to monitor them.



According to Times of India on the 16th, estimated corona victims of 70 and 20 corona victims were recently discovered in the Ganges River in the North Sar region of Bahar Province and the Ganges River in the Gazipur District of Uttar Pradesh.



Originally there is a tradition of Indian Hindus pouring ashes and ashes after cremation of the body in the Ganges River. It is believed that the cost of cremation has risen more than double recently and the body itself has been sent away.



There were also statements that ambulance drivers threw the corona victim's body into the river over the bridge.



The government of Uttar Pradesh sent a letter calling for caution to residents, saying, "The bodies of corona infection victims have not been processed according to proper rituals and have been dumped in the river."



The state government said, "There is a possibility that there is no money to buy cosmetic firewood, religious beliefs, and fear of corona are the causes of the rapid increase in cases of body abandonment in the Ganges."



At the same time, to prevent the abandonment of the body, a large number of policemen were put in the riverside of the Ganges and CCTVs were installed for surveillance.



In addition, it has announced that it will provide Rs 5,000 (our money of 70,000 won) to the residents in case of a corona victim's body.



The number of new confirmed cases in India per day reached its highest level on the 7th of this month, and then gradually decreased to about 320,000 the previous day.
