16 days off work awaiting employees during the second half of 2021

Employees of the public and private sectors in the country are waiting 16 days of official holidays during the second half of this year, according to the official holidays agenda approved by the Council of Ministers headed by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the State and Ruler of Dubai, for workers in the government and private sectors For the years 2021 and 2022, within the framework of organizing the workflow in the two sectors and ensuring its continuity with the various sectors.

The list of holidays for the second half of this year begins with the leave of Arafat’s Waqf, on the ninth day of Dhu al-Hijjah, scheduled for the Gregorian calendar on Monday 19 July, followed by the blessed Eid al-Adha holiday, which is during the period from 10 to 12 Dhu al-Hijjah, that is, from Tuesday 20 July to Thursday, July 22, and with the addition of the official weekly rest days (Friday and Saturday), the Eid Al-Adha holiday will be six days in a row. 

The employees get the Hijri New Year holiday on the twelfth of next August, which is a Thursday, to be added to the weekly rest (Friday and Saturday) so that the leave becomes three continuous days, and the same is the case for the Prophet’s birthday holiday, which will be on Thursday, October 21, followed by my day. Weekly rest, to become three continuous days. 

The current year ends with a four-day vacation, which begins with the Commemoration Day holiday (Wednesday 1 December), then the National Day (Thursday and Friday 2 and 3 December), in addition to Saturday (one of the two days of weekly rest).
