Munich (dpa) - The basketball players from ratiopharm Ulm protested against the rating after the first cup semi-final in Munich on Saturday.
After the 102: 104 (91:91, 84:84, 36:49) after two overtimes against the top favorite FC Bayern Munich, the Ulm team officially complained because Bayern's Wade Baldwin was briefly on the field even after his fifth foul.
This was confirmed by coach Jaka Lakovic in the press conference on Saturday evening.
«The situation was that a player was on the field with five fouls.
The referees failed.
I don't know if there is a sanction.
In all honesty, I don't expect a sanction.
But let's be surprised, ”commented Lakovic.
“Baldwin was still playing with five fouls, that's the end of the game,” Ulms Andreas Obst had said about what happened shortly before the end of the game at “Magentasport”.
How those responsible for the Bundesliga deal with the protest was initially open.
