Just a few kilometers away, Göran Stjern, 77, in Grebbestad had done exactly the same thing as Maj-Lis.

A few days after the two of them for the first time ever tried life on an online dating site, it became a meeting.

Which was followed by more and more.

- We felt that it both clicked, says Göran and Maj-Lis in each other's mouths.

"Now everything has turned"

They want to tell their sunshine story to inspire more people their age, who may have been forced into involuntary isolation, that there is hope.

- I had such dark thoughts a year ago and felt that life was hardly worth living.

Now everything has changed, being in love feels just like before, says Maj-Lis and together the couple tells about how last summer was filled with boat trips, swimming, fishing and walking.

Now both are looking forward to discovering a common interest they have, but which due to the pandemic has not gone away yet.

Namely to dance.
