“We have just thwarted an attempt by Hamas terrorists to launch a drone filled with explosives from Gaza City across Israel,” Israeli forces said on Twitter.
The army added that "the drone fell on the launch group and killed two Hamas militants."
On May 15, the military wing of the Palestinian movement Hamas announced that it had fired dozens of rockets towards Tel Aviv.
Later, the Israeli Air Force launched an airstrike on a 15-story building in the Gaza Strip.
