Munich (dpa) - Double winner Alba Berlin has followed host FC Bayern Munich into the final of the German Basketball Cup and can still hope to defend the title.
The capitalists clearly won 112: 96 (55:49) against outsiders BG Göttingen on Saturday evening and will now meet the favorite from Munich on Sunday (3 p.m. / Magentasport), who had previously played the first semi-final with a lot of effort and only after two extra times 104: 102 had won against Ratiopharm Ulm.
For the Berliners, Johannes Thiemann was the most successful thrower with 24 points.
For Göttingen, Rihards Lomazs scored best with 23 points.
