To wear the mask or not?

Indoors or outdoors?

The

Americans

are lost.

Thursday, May 13, the lifting by the American health authorities of

the recommendation to wear a mask for people vaccinated

against

Covid-19

took by surprise and caused some confusion in the country.

If at first glance, this recommendation seems simple, in the field, it is more complicated.

In particular because the directive is not binding.

In addition to not applying in transport and hospitals, the authorities specify that they are not valid if the mask remains "

required by the laws and rules federal, state, local

" or "the

directives of the stores and the company

s ”.

Since Thursday, therefore, companies and states have sought to position themselves on the legislation around the wearing of masks, making

the situation incomprehensible

.

For example, in Minnesota and Pennsylvania the bonds were immediately updated.

Virginia and Maryland have announced that they will comply on Saturday.

And in Connecticut, the new rule won't apply until next week.

CDC recommendations cause confusion

 "

Even imbroglio in the companies, the wearing of the mask is no longer compulsory at Trader Joe's and the number one American distribution, Walmart.

On the other hand, it remains so in brands like Aldi, which announced to maintain the

status quo.

Other companies remain hesitant: in the factories of General Motors, the mask remains of rigor the time “

to study

 ” the new directives.

The CDC's recommendations are confusing,

" complained the UFCW distribution union.

In Las Vegas, Wynn and Encore casinos are removing the requirement for their "

guests

" if they are "

fully vaccinated,

" according to a statement.

The group says “

 trust

 ” customers.

Another question is confusing in the United States: How do you know who is vaccinated and who is not?

There are few ways to verify as a national “

health passport

” has clearly been ruled out.
