He spoke about this following a closed session of the NSDC on Friday, May 14.
“Today, in secret mode, we considered the issue of creating cyber troops in our country.
I can say that this decision was supported by all 21 members unanimously present at the meeting.
I think that in the near future there will be a presidential decree about this, ”Danilov is quoted by Interfax-Ukraine.
According to him, the meeting also considered the approval of the cybersecurity strategy of Ukraine, as well as issues of biological security and "economic impact" of Russia.
In February 2019, the Verkhovna Rada announced the actual creation of cyber troops, noting that this was not officially announced.
The NSDC of Ukraine noted that the cyber troops will become part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
