Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - The seven-day incidence has continued to decline in the southwest.

In Baden-Württemberg, the value was 107.1, as the state health office announced on Friday.

On Wednesday it was 127.7.

The incidence indicates the number of new infections with the coronavirus within the past seven days per 100,000 inhabitants.

18 of the 44 regions were below the 100 mark, 4 of them below 50. The incidence is still highest in the Zollernalb district, where it was 217.6.

It is lowest in the Emmendingen district at 42.7.

The number of confirmed corona infections in Baden-Württemberg since the beginning of the pandemic rose by 1172 to 476 593 cases.

In the meantime, 9,686 people have died of an infection with or related to the coronavirus - 35 more than the day before.

An estimated 428 448 people (plus 4009) are considered to have recovered.
