May 15, 2021 A magnitude 4 earthquake was recorded by the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology 2 kilometers north-east of Gubbio. The shock was felt by the population, even in Perugia.



According to data from the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology, the earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 km. 



"From the checks carried out up to now by the Italian situation room of the department, no damages to people or things have been reported". The Civil Protection announces it in a tweet.



The seismic episode occurred at 9.56 am. Shortly after, at 10.07, another quake of 3.1 magnitude was recorded one kilometer north-east of Gubbio at the same depth.
