Berlin (dpa / bb) - Even if the nice weather is still a long time coming - the bathing season officially begins on the Berlin lakes and rivers this Saturday.
The State Office for Health and Social Affairs announced on Friday.
However, the corona protective measures would still have to be observed.
According to the authorities, the bathing season lasts until September 15.
During this time, people in Berlin can look forward to refreshment at almost 40 official bathing areas.
The water quality is also regularly checked there.
In the Spree, in the ports, on bridges as well as in locks and landing stages, swimming is always prohibited for safety reasons.
