Hamburg (dpa / lno) - FC St. Pauli coach Timo Schultz goes into the last home game of the current season against Hannover 96 with great respect for the opponent can beat.

We will do everything we can to prevent this from happening, ”said the 43-year-old coach on Friday with a view to the game in the Millerntor Stadium on Sunday (3:30 p.m. / Sky).

The ex-professional is currently preparing his team in the quarantine training camp in Herzlake for the Northern Derby, in which the best second division team is aiming for a positive home finish.

In terms of personnel, however, Schultz has to make some cuts.

The injured players Christopher Avevor, Sebastian Ohlsson and Eric Smith stayed in Hamburg and are no longer available to the Kiezclub this season.

Daniel-Kofi Kyereh, Tore Reginiussen and Marvin Knoll are battered, their involvement against Lower Saxony is uncertain.

"We have to see if we have enough time until Sunday," reported the St. Pauli trainer.

Long-term injuries Ryo Miyaichi and Christopher Buchtmann have worked their way back to the team after their intensive rehabilitation phase and are candidates for the squad, according to Schultz.
