"The War of the Worlds" returns for a second season on Canal +. The series is an adaptation of the eponymous novel by HG Wells - released in 1898 - where humanity is confronted with alien invaders. TF1 is putting its side on a completely different atmosphere with Audrey Fleurot, who plays a single mother high in color and in IQ in "HPI" - for "high intellectual potential". By a combination of circumstances, her character of Morgane Alvaro finds herself a consultant for the police. With her IQ of 160, she helps the police to carry out their investigations when she herself is often overwhelmed by everyday life and her three children. The series is a hit with audiences in France with more than ten million spectators every Thursday; in Europe, it slips on the third step of the podium.
