P4 Norrbotten reports the incident.
The toad march took place in an easterly direction towards Haparanda.
According to the radio, the Swedish Transport Administration's night emergency received around ten different calls about the incident and the emergency service says that they have never before heard of toads usually passing the E4 at that location in Kalix.
