Myasnikov announced the beginning of the third wave of coronavirus in Russia

"For three months, the incidence goes up, then it reaches a plateau, more or less three quiet months, then again three months of an increase in the incidence, and so on in all countries," he wrote, noting that this schedule differs depending on the region and country.

According to him, the decline in incidence that began three months ago was expected.

“It was predictable ... that a new wave would start sometime in May.

And so it begins.

Then we can say that it will last about three more months, then there will be a decline, and in the fall it will be again, ”he noted.

Earlier, the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development Anastasia Rakova called the situation with the coronavirus infection COVID-19 in the capital quite tense.
