Dubai Police clarifies important controls to release the muzzle violation and the number of vehicle passengers

The Director of the General Directorate of Traffic at Dubai Police, Brigadier General Saif Muhair Al Mazrouei, explained that the violation of not wearing the muzzle is recorded in presence only, and the police do not release it in absentia, and it does not apply to a person who is alone in the car, stressing that anyone who was violated in absentia in Dubai can refer to the General Department of Traffic.

Al Mazrouei said that this also applies to violating the number allowed to ride a single car, as Dubai Police registers it in attendance as well to ensure that those in the vehicle are not members of one family, pointing out that the number is flexible for family members because they live together in one house.

He added that Dubai Police is keen to monitor these violations in presence, especially on workers buses, to ensure that the precautionary measures are adhered to, stressing that the warning and advisory phase has ended, and there is no room except for non-compliance violations to protect the vast majority of community members who abide by the precautionary measures.

He stressed that the positive results achieved in confronting the virus depend greatly on the awareness, commitment, and willingness of members of the public to be vaccinated against Corona.

He called for the necessity to adhere to the instructions of the National Authority, to avoid family visits and gatherings, except for family members who live in one house, to adhere to physical distancing, to wear masks, and to deal with caution and care with the elderly and people with chronic diseases, in order to preserve their safety.
