Lübeck (dpa / lno) - A 55-year-old cyclist drove into an intersection in Lübeck when it was red and was critically injured in a collision with a car.
The man was brought to a hospital after the accident on Thursday evening, accompanied by an emergency doctor, the police said on Friday.
According to the investigation, the 55-year-old turned left at an intersection at a red light without paying attention to the traffic.
He hit a car in the side.
The 32-year-old driver was uninjured.
When the accident was recorded, the police discovered that the cyclist had a strong alcoholic odor.
A blood sample was taken from him.
