The Israeli occupation army announced that it launched raids on 150 underground targets in the north of Gaza. In contrast, the Palestinian resistance factions launched dozens of rockets at several Israeli cities, most notably Tel Aviv, Ashkelon and Sderot, and the Qassam Brigades targeted a chemical factory in the town of Nir Oz with the Shehab drone.

The spokesman for the occupation army, Avichai Adrai, said in a statement, "Since midnight last night, about 160 aircraft from about 6 air bases have participated and used about 450 missiles and shells to raid about 150 targets within about 40 minutes."

He added that the Air Force plays a central role in striking what he called "terrorist" hideouts in the Gaza Strip, confirming that what he described as a very strong strike was directed at the headquarters of Hamas and Islamic Jihad movements in the Strip.

The Israeli raids on Gaza resulted in the death of 119 Palestinians, including 27 children and 11 women, in addition to the wounding of 600 various injuries, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

The violent Israeli bombing also destroyed and vandalized a large number of shops, in addition to damage to the electricity networks, which led to them being cut off from Al-Rimal neighborhood, west of Gaza City.

On the other hand, Al-Qassam Brigades and Al-Quds Brigades announced that last night they fired dozens of rockets at several Israeli cities, most notably Tel Aviv, Ashkelon, Sderot and Beersheba, in response to the occupation's targeting of civilians and the bombing of infrastructure and facilities in Gaza.

The Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced that it had bombed for the first time southern Israel with missiles with a range of up to 250 km, and targeted Israeli military crowds on the Gaza border with booby-trapped drones.

The brigades confirmed that they bombed Tel Aviv, Beersheba, Netivot, Tel Nof, and Nevatim base with dozens of missiles on Thursday and Friday morning, after the Brigades spokesman, Abu Ubaidah, threatened that there were no red borders in repelling the Israeli aggression.

In turn, the Israeli army admitted that the Palestinian factions in Gaza have fired about two thousand rockets so far, including 190 rockets on Thursday evening, killing 9 Israelis and wounding 130 others.

In a new development, the Al-Qassam Brigades announced that its drones targeted, yesterday noon, Israeli military forces on the outskirts of the Gaza Strip.

The armed wing of Hamas broadcast pictures of the locally made "Shehab" booby-trapped drones, which had recently entered service, stressing that the drones yesterday targeted an Israeli gas platform on the sea off the coast of northern Gaza.

Al-Jazeera correspondent in Gaza, Wael Al-Dahdouh, said, "We saw a decrease in the intensity of the Israeli bombing and raids today, Friday, in most areas of the Gaza Strip, corresponding to a decrease in the frequency of the rocket barrages launched by the Palestinian factions towards Israel."

However, he confirmed the continuation of intermittent artillery shelling of the border strip in the northern Gaza Strip, and in some areas in the eastern border strip, east of Al-Zaytoun and Al-Sajaiya neighborhoods.

The Al-Jazeera correspondent indicated that the resistance responded by firing 4 rocket-propelled grenades during the last three hours.

He refused the armistice

In the context, Israeli Intelligence Minister Eli Cohen said, "The Israeli security cabinet decided unanimously, during its meeting yesterday, to reject all mediations and proposals submitted to it regarding a ceasefire."

For his part, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that his country is fighting on two fronts, at home and abroad.

In a speech to his citizens, he confirmed that operations in the Gaza Strip would continue without a time limit, but he acknowledged that it was impossible to repel all Palestinian rockets.

Netanyahu added that he had granted full powers to the security forces to address the riots at home, and he threatened lawbreakers with punishment.
