Mannheim (dpa / lsw) - SV Waldhof Mannheim has won the third football league for the second time in a row.
With the 3-2 (3-2) win against Halleschen FC, Patrick Glöckner's team climbed to tenth place in the table on Monday.
After the results of the competition, the Mannheimers were sure to stay in the league before the kick-off.
The Waldhöfer had shot out a 3-0 lead in the first half with two goals from Dominik Martinovic (17th minute / 25th) and Stefano Russo (21st).
Before the break, Halle came up to 2: 3 through Jannes Vollert (35th) and Laurenz Dehl (39th).
Overall, the HFC was decisive for the game and would have deserved the equalizer in the second half.
The Mannheim defense withstood the attacks.
