Langenargen (dpa / lby) - Because of a foehn storm, three sailors overturned their boat in Lake Constance.

A rubber dinghy that happened to pass by picked them up and brought them to the port of Langenargen (Baden-Württemberg), as the police announced on Sunday evening.

They were therefore unharmed.

The police towed the capsized sailing boat to Friedrichshafen on Sunday after the accident.

There it was secured in a port.

The foehn is a south wind that blows from Italy over the Alps to the north.
