"The bilateral meeting ended with the signing ceremony of an agreement between NATO and the Austrian federal government on the legal status of the NATO liaison office in Vienna," the NATO website said in a statement.
It is noted that the entry into force of the document means the creation of a "NATO mission to the OSCE and other international organizations in Vienna."
Earlier, Lieutenant General Brice Hude, Deputy Chief of the Supreme Staff of NATO Allies in Europe, spoke about the scale of the Steadfast Defender 2021 exercise, scheduled for the end of May-June of this year.
