Bergkamen (dpa / lnw) - Unknowns damaged a wooden hut used as a corona rapid test center in Bergkamen with a so-called “Polish firecracker”, according to the police.
The state security of the Dortmund police took over the investigation, since a politically motivated background cannot be ruled out.
As the police announced on Monday, a witness heard a loud bang on Sunday morning at around 5 a.m. and saw three people run away.
When the police arrived, one of the wooden huts was "significantly" damaged, according to the police.
There were still remains of the gun in front of it.
The state security is now looking for more witnesses.
