Düsseldorf (dpa / lnw) - The number of verbal or physical attacks on bailiffs fell last year to the lowest level since 2017.
In a total of 123 cases, there were attacks or attacks in 2020, according to the Ministry of Justice in a report to the Legal Committee.
In 2017 there were 273 cases, and in 2018 even 288 cases.
In 2019 the number fell to 162, in the Corona year 2020 it continued to decrease.
The report does not reveal whether this was related to the pandemic.
In most cases, bailiffs verbally abused or threatened debtors.
In some cases, the perpetrators had a real or fake weapon or a sharp dog.
