Mainz (dpa / lrs) - The SPD, Greens and FDP in Rhineland-Palatinate signed the coalition agreement for the second traffic light government on Monday.

First of all, the top candidates, Prime Minister Malu Dreyer (SPD), Environment Minister Anne Spiegel (Greens) and Daniela Schmitt (FDP) signed the more than 180-page “Future Treaty Rhineland-Palatinate 2021 to 2026” on Monday in Mainz.

This was followed by party chairmen Roger Lewentz (SPD), Misbah Khan and Josef Winkler (both Greens) and Volker Wissing (FDP)

The constituent session of the state parliament for the new electoral period is on Tuesday next week (May 18).

Then Dreyer will also be re-elected Prime Minister.
