Berlin (dpa / bb) - A 30-year-old is said to have hit a 37-year-old man with a baseball bat.
According to initial investigations, he hit the man's 32-year-old friend in the face on Schleiermacherstrasse in Berlin-Kreuzberg, the police said on Monday.
The couple fled to a residential building on Sunday evening, where the alarmed officers met both of them.
It turned out that there was an arrest warrant against the 30-year-old.
He was taken into police custody and released after his personal details were recorded.
He is being investigated on suspicion of dangerous bodily harm.
Even the 37-year-old, who refused medical treatment on Sunday evening, expects a preliminary investigation on suspicion of bodily harm.
The woman came to the hospital for outpatient treatment.
