Berlin (dpa / bb) - A 15-year-old is said to have injured two police officers while breaking up a loud party in Berlin's Prenzlauer Berg district.

The youth is said to have behaved extremely aggressively on Monday night and hit the emergency services with a broken porcelain cup in the incident in Kopenhagener Strasse, the police said.

One of the officers then held his hands protectively in front of his face and sustained deep cuts.

Another policeman was slightly injured when they overpowered and tied the 15-year-old.

It had previously become clear that the youth welfare office had advertised for handover to a youth emergency service, to which he was ultimately also transferred.

It is being investigated because of resistance to law enforcement officers.

In addition, administrative offense proceedings have been initiated due to violations of the Infection Protection Act and inadmissible noise.
