Due to an emergency situation, this emergency statement temporarily granted 18 states a temporary transportation exemption for gasoline, diesel, aviation fuel, and other refined oil products so that the fuel could be transported by road.

  Colonial Pipeline, the largest pipeline operator in the United States, said on the 7th that the company was under a cyber attack and then closed a 5,500-mile pipeline, which is responsible for transporting nearly half of the fuel supply on the east coast.

This incident has raised concerns about the shortage of gasoline, diesel and jet fuel.
