It was at half past three that the family woke up when several alarms went off in the house.
When they looked out, they saw that their car had started to burn in the parking lot and that two people were moving by the car.
- The man in the family then goes out, grabs one of these two people and is stabbed in connection with this intervention.
The person who stabbed the man fled the scene while the other remained and was arrested, says Thomas Fuxborg, the police's press spokesperson.
The man was awake and talkable when he was taken to hospital.
The police have initiated a preliminary investigation into suspected attempted murder and arson.
- The situation looks pretty good that we should be able to find the other person as there are several witnesses, says Thomas Fuxborg.
During the day, the police will carry out a technical investigation of the site.
