The Egyptian artist Mohamed Henedy topped the Twitter site in Egypt for several hours today, Sunday, after his solidarity with the people of occupied Jerusalem and those stationed in the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and inviting his fans to stand with them "in the face of the injustice and oppression they are exposed to."
Heneidy criticized - in a tweet on his official account - what he described as "global silence and ignorance towards what is happening in the occupied territories," and concluded the tweet with the tag "# Save_ Sheikh_ Jarrah neighborhood."
Henedy's tweet met with great interaction, welcome and praise from his followers in various parts of the Arab world, and garnered more than 45,000 likes, and more than 12,000 followers retweeted it.

But the strange thing is that the reactions to the artist Mohamed Henedy's tweet were not all positive, as a number of followers loyal to the Egyptian regime apparently attacked Henedi, accusing him of caring for foreign issues at the expense of his country's issues that need support, such as the army, tourism and the issue of the Renaissance Dam.
Some accounts exaggerated their reactions, describing Henedi's support for the stationers in Al-Aqsa with the support of Egypt's enemies, and some of them marveled at Henedi's support for the Palestinians after they prayed for Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi earlier, according to the owners of these tweets.
Everyone thinks of me like that if Muhammad Henedy wrote his tweet on our martyrs, on the Renaissance Dam, or supported Egypt for anything other than hospitality.
