Kiel (dpa / lno) - The seven-day incidence in Schleswig-Holstein rose slightly to 50.8 on Sunday.

The day before, an incidence of 50.0 new corona infections per 100,000 inhabitants had been reported within a week, on the Sunday of last week the value was 58.0.

Within one day, 115 newly reported infections were added, according to data from the Ministry of Health in Kiel.

On Sunday last week there were 98 new infections.

According to the information, there were 160 Covid 19 patients in clinics on Sunday - twelve more than the day before.

50 of them were treated in the intensive care unit, one less than the day before.

32 corona patients were ventilated, one more than the day before.

Two other people died of or with a corona infection.

The number of deaths related to the virus since the start of the pandemic is now 1,529 (as of May 9, 6:42 p.m.).

The city of Neumünster is still above the critical threshold of 100 with the seven-day incidence - with a value of 107.2.

The lowest numbers were in the Schleswig-Flensburg district (24.4).
