Berlin (AP) - Pal Dardai continues his extreme rotation at Hertha BSC in the relegation battle of the Bundesliga.

The Berlin coach changes his starting line-up in the game against Arminia Bielefeld on Sunday (6 p.m. / Sky) this time to eight positions compared to the 3-0 win against SC Freiburg.

For the win against the Breisgauer he even changed the Hertha-Elf to nine positions compared to the previous draw in Mainz.

Dardai wants to distribute the high load on his squad with six games in 19 days.

Dardai announced that he will continue to do so in the upcoming games at FC Schalke 04 on Wednesday as well as against 1. FC Köln (May 15) and TSG 1899 Hoffenheim (May 22).

"So we're going through the season with this rotation," said the Hungarian before the game on Sky TV.

So far, the Berliners have scored four points in two games after their two-week corona quarantine and thus made the leap from the relegation ranks.

Only goalkeeper Alexander Schwolow, midfield clearer Santiago Ascacibar and attacker Krzysztof Piatek remain in the starting line-up on Sunday.

Ex-world champion Sami Khedira and Mattéo Guendouzi, for whom the season has ended after a metatarsal fracture, are not in the squad at all.

Khedira's calves had closed, it hadn't gotten any better, said Dardai.

"Maybe next week or against Cologne" he could participate again.

The Bielefeld tied on points in relegation rank 16 will compete in the Olympic Stadium with two changes compared to the 0: 5 against Borussia Mönchengladbach two weeks ago.

Andreas Voglsammer and Cédric-Christian Brunner replace Christian Gebauer and the yellow-banned Nathan de Medina.
