Eurovision, which was canceled last year, will be held from May 18 to 22 in Rotterdam.

The candidates are already there and one of them, the representative of Sweden, was the victim of racist insults after posting photos of his rehearsals on social networks.

its calls for tolerance and surpassing oneself.

The problem, for some, is the interpreter.

Tousin Chisa, alias Tusse, is a black 19-year-old Congolese refugee.

His story is also particularly moving since the young man, who sang throughout his childhood in church choirs, was separated from his parents, then placed in a refugee camp in Uganda, before arriving there. eleven years in Sweden, where he won several tele-hooks.

And in a country that has won Eurovision six times, where the preparation for this competition is a real national sport, it matters

When images of his first rehearsals in Rotterdam were posted on social media, however, the messages of support were accompanied by numerous racist slurs.

A sign, one more, that part of the population has not yet digested the wave of refugees of 2015, during which Sweden was particularly welcoming.

The Swedish delegation officially protested against this wave of hatred, hoping that Tusse will do as well as Abba, the famous Swedish group who won Eurovision in 1974.
