Theuma (dpa / sn) - A 48-year-old man was found seriously injured at the foot of a slope in the Vogtlandkreis.
As the police announced on Monday, cyclists discovered the man on Sunday afternoon in Theuma.
The fire brigade rescued the 48-year-old from a depth of about five meters.
He was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Since an e-bike was found on site, the police are currently assuming an accident.
More precise details were initially unclear.
According to police, the man had drunk alcohol.
