Hamburg (dpa / lno) - Police arrested three suspected intruders in Altona-Nord on Saturday.

The police said on Sunday, a resident of an apartment building called the police after he noticed that his neighbor's home had been forcibly broken into and searched.

Accordingly, he also observed how three men fled the house.

Before that, they should have rang the man's doorbell under an excuse.

The police started a manhunt and arrested three heavily drunk men aged 29, 34 and 62 as suspects.

Typical burglary tools as well as alleged stolen property were found with them, some of which are said to have come from the break-in.

Two of the men were then taken into custody, only the 34-year-old was released.

The police are now checking whether the men are possibly responsible for further break-ins.
