Berlin (dpa / bb) - With a knife in front of him, a stranger attacked a gas station in Berlin-Mariendorf in broad daylight.

People were not injured, the police said on Sunday.

Accordingly, the perpetrator had entered the sales room on Mariendorfer Damm on Saturday afternoon and forced the two 19 and 24-year-old employees to open the cash register.

Another 26-year-old petrol station employee became aware of what was happening.

He went into the ticket office and approached the man.

He quickly reached into the open cash register, took out banknotes and fled.

The police did not provide any information about the amount of the loot.
