Leverkusen (AP) - For the Leverkusen football professional Daley Sinkgraven, the season ended prematurely.
As the Bundesliga sixth announced on Sunday, the 25-year-old left-back suffered an inner ligament strain in his left knee when he was 0-0 at Werder Bremen the day before.
That is why the Dutchman was replaced by Wendell in the first half.
Sinkgraven missed the outstanding Bundesliga games against 1. FC Union Berlin (May 15) and Borussia Dortmund (May 22).
