Berstadt (dpa / lhe) - When a motorcycle collided with a car in the Wetterau district, the driver of the two-wheeler was seriously injured.
The 30-year-old man from Nidda was on Sunday on the B455 in the direction of Berstadt, said the Central Hesse police headquarters.
At the same time, a 24-year-old man from Wölfersheim drove his car on the L3188 and turned onto the B455.
At the confluence, the motorcycle hit the rear of the bent car, as it was called.
The motorcyclist was seriously injured and flown to a clinic in a rescue helicopter.
The authorities estimate the damage to the vehicles at 15,000 euros.
