Most of them are female students .. 55 killed in explosions outside a Kabul school

Fifty-five people were killed and 150 others were injured, most of them students, in a series of explosions, which took place outside a girls ’school in Kabul, according to the Afghan Pajok News Agency on Sunday.

A security official, who asked not to be identified after the successive explosions, said that the death toll may rise, as many of the injured are in critical condition.

No one immediately claimed responsibility for the explosions, and two of them were suicide attacks, but President Ashraf Ghani blamed the attack on the Taliban.

On the other hand, a spokesman for the Taliban movement denied that the movement was involved in the attack and held "ISIS" organization responsible for the explosions.

And Tariq Erian, a spokesman for the Afghan Interior Ministry, had said earlier that at least 100 other people were injured in the bombing that took place yesterday, Saturday, near a girls' school in the Dasht al-Berchi neighborhood.

The bombing of female students was widely condemned locally and internationally.
