Kiel / Neumünster (dpa / lno) - The persistently high corona incidence numbers in Neumünster above the critical value of 100 have consequences for school children in Schleswig-Holstein's fourth largest city.

From this Monday on, there will be alternating lessons, as the Ministry of Education in Kiel announced on Saturday.

Only in the final classes and in the classes that will take the Abitur in the coming year (Q1) will therefore face-to-face lessons be offered.

The reason given was that the seven-day incidence, according to a count by the Robert Koch Institute on Saturday, was over 100 for the third day in a row.

According to the state, the number of new corona infections per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days on Friday evening was 109.7.

Nationwide, the incidence was only 52.1.
