Kiel (dpa / lno) - Second division soccer team Holstein Kiel will have to do without Mikkel Kirkeskov in the upcoming games.

The Danish defender suffered a wrist fracture in training on Saturday, the club announced on Sunday.

The 29-year-old left-back, who came to Kiel from the Polish first division club Piast Gleiwitz at the beginning of the year, has so far played six second division games for Schleswig-Holstein.

On Monday (6 p.m. / Sky), Kiel will play a catch-up game against Hannover 96.
